I started developing websites when I signed up with Demon Internet back in 1994, although I had grasped the basics of web design, in the following years I would develop my skills in Perl and PHP, two of the most popular programming languages used for more complicated website design.
I learnt to host my own websites in 1995, getting my own server in 1997 when I worked for Demon Internet.
After observing internet trends, I wrote a web based email program for some friends in college and possibly the world’s first online photo converter. This was when most people had scanners that gave them files unsuited to using on the Internet, such as TIFF and BMP and converted them into more usable JPG files.
Currently I write bespoke websites and complex applications for the web.
